Click the link below to donate to the Samaritan's Purse relief effort for the areas of the Bahamas that were most affected by Hurricane Dorian. As a native Floridian, I have seen first-hand how much destruction a hurricane can bring. We almost didn't go on this cruise because of Dorian. But our Florida governor said that tourism is a large part of the economy in the Bahamas. He encouraged Florida citizens to give to the Bahamas economy with our tourism. Our cruise was supposed to stop in Freeport as well, but because of the destruction, that port was canceled. We are keeping the people of the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama in our prayers. We are so thankful for organizations like Samaritan's Purse, who can be there for communities in the way they need it most after natural disasters.

In this vlog, my husband and I cruise to Nassau, Bahamas. We went cruising on the Carnival Elation Cruise Ship. We went to the Aquaventure excursion in Atlantis and slid down a 60-foot water slide through a tank of sharks! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over the Nassau Port of Call from the Lido deck as we left.
